OUR CURRICULUM
Blackwood Primary is an IB school valuing, supporting and inspiring a community of lifelong learners’ and we aim to develop students who view learning as a journey that continues beyond school. This aligns well with the International Baccalaureate Mission Statement and the Learner Profile which is the foundation of all learning at Blackwood Primary School.
At Blackwood Primary School we have a strong focus on collaborative planning where teaching teams plan, reflect and refine the teaching and learning that takes place across all year levels. All learning programs are designed to enable students to develop the attributes of the Learner Profile and meet the Australian Curriculum requirements within the International Baccalaureate (IB) Primary Years Programme (PYP).
