OSHC AND VACATION CARE
The Blackwood OSHC staff would like to welcome all families & children to our service, which operates from a purpose built facility, adjacent to the school hall.
The service is committed to providing a safe nurturing environment; where primary school aged children have rich learning opportunities to learn through play, develop life skills and friendships and have fun!

The service aims to:
- Provide quality childcare that meets the needs of individual children and families
- Develop a sense of belonging by creating an environment where children feel valued and foster relationships
- Provide a smooth transition between home, school and other environments significant to families needs, by working in partnership with families/caregivers
- Provide stimulating activities that extend the children’s interests, their capacity to make new discoveries and ability to share skills and knowledge with each other
- Respect each child as a unique individual
- Build collaborative partnerships with families as the service acknowledges that children and parents/caregivers provide a rich array of values and diverse backgrounds
- Develop life skills and a sense of citizenship
Blackwood Primary School Governing Council is responsible as the approved provider for operating the OSHC service to meet the standards of the National Quality Framework.
Families have the opportunity to be actively involved in planning and decision making about the service and can join the OSHC committee, which meets twice per term and is responsible for making recommendations to Governing Council.

My family lounge

Registering for My Family Lounge in 3 Simple Steps
Step 1 Families who have attended this service before and are NEW to My Family Lounge – Please contact the service to receive your unique Login.
For NEW families to our service who have NOT used My Family Lounge before, click on REGISTER to create your My Family Lounge account.
For families who have an EXISTING My Family Lounge account, skip the registration process and go to step 2
Step 2 Log into your MFL account and tell us about you and your child. Complete and submit your child’s enrolment form online via the website portal. Now you are ready to book!
Step 3 Once your child is enrolled at our service, you can book in your casual days via the My Family Lounge App or website for B/ASC and Vacation Care. To download the App go to Google Play or App Store.
