OSHC AND VACATION CARE

The Blackwood OSHC staff would like to welcome all families & children to our service, which operates from a purpose built facility, adjacent to the school hall.

The service is committed to providing a safe nurturing environment; where primary school aged children have rich learning opportunities to learn through play, develop life skills and friendships and have fun!
The service aims to:
  • Provide quality childcare that meets the needs of individual children and families
  • Develop a sense of belonging by creating an environment where children feel valued and foster relationships
  • Provide a smooth transition between home, school and other environments significant to families needs, by working in partnership with families/caregivers
  • Provide stimulating activities that extend the children’s interests, their capacity to make new discoveries and ability to share skills and knowledge with each other
  • Respect each child as a unique individual
  • Build collaborative partnerships with families as the service acknowledges that children and parents/caregivers provide a rich array of values and diverse backgrounds
  • Develop life skills and a sense of citizenship
